Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel (The Star) is dedicated to developing strong community ties and active involvement with local community and regional organizations and events. Involvement in community events and sponsorships are aimed at increasing the casino’s market awareness through advertising and public relations. Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel and partner organizations shall not take any action that directly conflicts with the casino's policies on responsible gaming.
Sponsorship requests from organizations within our market and community shall be reviewed monthly by the casino’s sponsorship committee. The committee shall consist of the SASCH’s General Manager, Director of Marketing, and the Community Relations Manager. To ensure enough time to properly evaluate, respond and develop marketing plans in support of your event, please submit your sponsorship request no less than 60 days prior to the event’s commencement.
Decision Process
The decision process for sponsorships may take up to 30 days. Our decisions are determined by our annual budget and other sponsorship commitments. Organizations making requests following these guidelines shall be notified by a committee member of the final decision.
Sponsorships shall be reviewed individually. Please review these guidelines carefully to ensure your request meets our requirements prior to submission. Proposals that do not contain all of the required information shall not be reviewed. If you believe any of the information required is not relevant to your organization, please briefly explain why.

SASCH will continually explore and consider new and interesting proposals. Please note that approved sponsorships does not necessarily guarantee or imply future support. These guidelines are non-binding and may be amended at any time or any reason by Santa Ana Star Management and/or TEI Board of Directors.
The casino enterprise, as a general rule does not award donations. Rather, the casino enterprise will support programs in a sponsorship format which shall include one or a combination of publicity, advertising, or ticket packages. Please ensure all donation requests comply with Section 4(a-n). Donation requests shall be made no later than 60 days in advance.
