The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – Feb. 24, 2020 – Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico’s Best Bet, welcomes “Last Comic Standing” champion Josh Blue to The Stage. Blue will perform four shows beginning on Friday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, Feb. 29, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Born with cerebral palsy, Josh Blue heavily incorporates his physical challenges into the backbone of his tongue-in-cheek comedic style. Encouraging audiences to peer into his life, he takes a hard but playful look at the realities of living with a disability, examining how others see him and how he sees himself. Blue’s keen sense of comedic timing is only rivaled by his goofy personality, undeniable likeability and his gifted storytelling abilities. In addition to winning NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” competition, he has won Comedy Works’ New Talent Search contest and Las Vegas Comedy Festival’s Royal Flush Comedy Competition. He was also the first comedian to perform stand-up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” In addition to comedy, Blue is a painter, sculptor and was a member of the U.S. Paralympic Soccer Team that competed in Athens at the Paralympic Games, the world’s second largest sporting event.
Tickets to Josh Blue’s performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel range between $15 and $25 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
