Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, is set to host a special evening of entertainment at The Stage starring Dixie Longate as she presents "WERK! Dine & Drag" on Saturday, Sept. 29. The show includes dinner as guests enjoy the musical and comedic stylings of the fast-talking Tupperware lady, Dixie Longate. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Dixie Longate is a boisterous Alabama parolee-turned-Los Angeles-based Tupperware sales kingpin. Cleverly combining comedy, storytelling and much more, her original Tupperware party show was discovered by a group of New York Theater producers who adapted it into the off-Broadway hit "Dixie's Tupperware Party" in 2007. Now, more than 1,000 performances later, Dixie Longate continues to tour and entertain audiences all over the world. She has written and performed three solo stand-up comedy shows: "Broken Sh*t and Baby Jesus," "No Instructions" and "My Bags Went Where." Her most recent theatrical show, "Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull and 16 Other Things I Learned While I was Drinking Last Thursday," sold out theaters across the country.
Tickets to the "WERK! Dine & Drag featuring Dixie Longate" at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel range between $30 and $40 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Each ticket includes admission to the show and a choice of dinner entrée. Beers, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
