“Dine & Drag” with Miss Coco Peru at The Stage
The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – April 15, 2019

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico’s Best Bet, is set to host a special evening of entertainment at The Stage starring Miss Coco Peru as she presents “WERK! Dine & Drag” on Saturday, April 20. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and also features local performers Chyna Dahl, Jordan Matthews, Lady Hawk, Vanessa Patricks, Madison Eriks and Savannah Knigh.

 

Miss Coco Peru has been a household name in the LGBT community for over 25 years since becoming a downtown darling and favorite in the cabaret community of New York City. In the early 1990’s, she wrote, produced, directed and starred in her first show, “Miss Coco Peru in My Goddam Cabaret” which launched her into stardom. Her blossoming career led to worldwide acclaim as she continued to write, produce, direct and star in numerous intimate cabaret performances, earning her multiple nominations and awards.  

Peru also starred alongside Patrick Swayze in the beloved feature film, “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar,” and has also made appearances in numerous television series’ including “How I Met Your Mother,” “Arrested Development,” and “Will & Grace.” She has been lauded for her brilliant tribute series, “Conversations with CoCo,” where she conducted live career-retrospective interviews with some of Hollywood’s most loved entertainers including Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. Most recently, she has enjoyed extreme success as a viral sensation and social media star on Instagram and has raked in over nine million views on her Youtube channel.
