Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes comedy extraordinaire Harland Williams to The Stage on Friday, July 20, and Saturday, July 21. He will perform two shows each night at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Although his early artistic outlets were primarily rooted in writing and painting, Canadian-born actor and stand-up comedian Harland Williams is an entertainer whose career has spanned more than three decades. His big break came in 1994 when he was cast in the comedic cult classic "Dumb and Dumber." However, over the years he's continued to showcase his comedy in films including "Half Baked," "There's Something about Mary," "Superstar" and "RocketMan" and through stand-up comedy specials for networks including HBO, Comedy Central, CTV and CBC. Boldly tackling any topic, he unleashes outlandish humor that dares audiences to take a walk on the wild side with heavy doses of unpredictable wit and on-the-spot improv. Williams produces a biweekly podcast, "The Harland Highway," where he hosts a variety of special guests and discusses topics ranging from current events to general musings. In addition to comedy, Williams also does voice work for animated productions including "Robots," and he created a series for Disney Junior called "Puppy Dog Pals."
Tickets to Harland Williams's performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel range between $15 and $25 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
