House Music Legends Donald Glaude and Darin Epsilon at The Stage
The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – Jan. 20, 2015

The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – Jan. 20, 2015 – Santa Ana Star Casino, New Mexico’s Best Bet, welcomes EDM (electronic dance music) greats Donald Glaude and Darin Epsilon to The Stage on Friday, Jan. 23. A continuation of The Stage’s “Creators Series,” the show begins at 9 p.m.

“Celebrating the visionary DJs who laid the foundation for global EDM, this special night of The Stage’s ‘Creators Series’ highlights the origins of house music and two legendary DJs who paved the way for the subgenre,” says Santa Ana Star Casino Director of Marketing Tammy Neil. “Representing the roots of the house music movement from different sides of the country, Donald Glaude and Darin Epsilon celebrate the future of house music as much as they embody its storied past.”

Although his career in electronic music began with mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer, Donald Glaude quickly transformed from a self-taught turntablist into a key figure in Seattle’s ‘90s underground dance music scene. Taking the West Coast by storm, he developed a powerful signature style boldly mixing raw, innovative sounds and became a permanent fixture in San Francisco’s legendary Funky Tekno Tribe. Dubbed the “James Brown of DJs,” Glaude continues to push the boundaries of house music with his two record labels, Eden Recordings and Durty Records, and performs with a genuine passion that pours out of the DJ booth and onto the dance floor.

Raised in the epicenter of house music, Chicago native Darin Epsilon’s interest in electronic music blossomed from his turntables into a full-spectrum career. Named “King of Progressive House” in 2012 by USC Magazine, he is now a producer, DJ, radio personality, record label owner and music critic. Epsilon has produced tracks with Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schultz and Paul Oakenfold and headlined massive festivals including Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland and Ultra Music Festival.

Tickets to Donald Glaude and Darin Epsilon’s performance at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino are $13 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
