“Jackass” Fan Favorite Steve-O Returns to The Stage

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico’s Best Bet, welcomes “Jackass” alumnus Steve-O to The Stage. He will perform four shows on Friday, Aug. 23, and Saturday, Aug. 24. Each night the first show begins at 7 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m.

Notorious for his eccentric behavior and wild style, Stephen Gilchrist Glover, more commonly known as “Steve-O,” has made a career of entertaining people with his humorous, outlandish antics. After attending Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, Steve-o’s big break came after catching the attention of director Jeff Tremaine who tapped him to join the cast of MTV’s mega-hit reality show, “Jackass.” The show featured the cast as they performed crazy and often self-injurious stunts and pranks. Capitalizing on the popularity of “Jackass,” Steve-O was featured in three “Jackass” movies including “Jackass: The Movie,” “Jackass Number Two” and “Jackass 3D.” He also costarred in a “Jackass” spinoff called “Wildboyz” alongside Chris Pontius. In 2010, Steve-O began performing stand-up comedy with the “Steve-O’s Entirely Too Much Information Tour.” Combining his signature wild antics with comedic tales from his life, he has continued to push the boundaries of traditional comedy. He debuted his first hour-long “Showtime” comedy special, “Guilty as Charged” in 2016 and is currently performing his new “The Bucket List Tour” across the country. In addition to performing, Steve-O is an author who released his autobiography, “Professional Idiot: A Memoir,” in 2011 with coauthor David Peisner. He is also a dedicated animal rights activist who was awarded one of PETA’s top honors, the Nanci Alexander Award, for his advocacy against animal cruelty.
