Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes stand-up comedian and entertainer Jim Breuer to The Stage. He will perform one show on Thursday, Jan. 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m., and two shows on Friday, Jan. 26, beginning 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Born and raised in New York, Jim Breuer is a world-renowned comedic storyteller. Although his first gig was at an open mic night in 1989, his big break came in 1995 when he joined the cast of NBC's "Saturday Night Live." Working alongside fellow comedians including Will Ferrell and David Spade, he rose to notoriety with roles like fan-favorite "Goat Boy." Since then, Breuer has been recognized as one of Comedy Central's "100 Greatest Standups of All Time" and starred in comedy specials including "Hardcore," "Let's Clear the Air," "And Laughter for All" and most recently "Comic Frenzy." Drawing heavily on the daily happenings of his own life as a husband and father, he recounts hilariously animated, ever-relatable tales of the triumphs and tragedies of family life. Bringing his quirky worldview to light, Breuer is also a frequent guest on "The Howard Stern Show" on Sirius XM, and he produces and hosts his own podcast aptly named "The Jim Breuer Podcast." In addition to comedy, he is also an actor who has had roles in TV shows like CBS's "Kevin Can Wait," and movies including "Zookeeper," "Titan A.E." and the Dave Chappelle cult classic, "Half Baked."
Tickets to Jim Breuer's performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino range between $20 and $40 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
