Political Comedian Hari Kondabolu to Perform at The Stage

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes popular comedian, writer and podcaster Hari Kondabolu to The Stage on Friday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 15. He will perform two shows nightly at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Heralded by the New York Times as "one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today," Brooklyn-based comedian Hari Kondabolu has been making his mark on the comedy industry for more than a decade. Though he rose through the ranks of Seattle's alternative comedy scene, his satirical critiques of race, class, identity, inequality and the LGBT community earned him mainstream success. Kondabolu filmed a half-hour "Comedy Central Presents" special in 2011, and he released his first Netflix comedy special, "Warn Your Relatives," in 2018. One of Variety's "Top 10 Comics to Watch" for 2018, he has also recorded three comedy albums: "Waiting for 2042," "Mainstream American Comic" and "Hari Kondabolu's New Material Night, Volume 1." In addition to comedy, Kondabolu produced the critically acclaimed documentary "The Problem with Apu" on truTV. He also produces and cohosts "The Kondabolu Brothers Podcast" with his brother.
