Ring in 2020 with New Year’s Eve Celebrations at The Star

The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – Dec. 9, 2019 – Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico’s Best Bet, is celebrating the New Year with exciting entertainment, winning promotions and delicious dining to help our guests bid farewell to 2019 and start the New Year right.

Tuesday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve)

New Year’s Eve celebrations begin at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 31 with a casino-wide “Noon Year’s Eve” countdown. Complimentary party favors at designated stations throughout the casino will be available while supplies last. Following the countdown, hourly free play drawings begin at 2 p.m. Two guests will win $100 in free play every hour until midnight. 

Starlight Bowling Bar & Grill also gets in on the action at noon with their “Noon Year’s Eve” countdown along with hourly giveaways that will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with one winner per hour. Cosmic bowling will be available from 6 p.m. until midnight and will be followed by the midnight countdown to officially ring in the New Year. Complimentary party favors will be available for guests in Starlight Bowling Bar & Grill during both countdowns and while supplies last.  

Feast Buffet will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the seafood and prime rib buffet available for $29.95 per person. Enjoy a delicious, 3-course meal for two that includes filet mignon carved tableside and served with Alaskan king crab legs for $160 at Juniper Steakhouse. The restaurant will be open from noon to midnight and also includes your choice of soup or salad, two sides and your choice of dessert. The regular dinner menu will also be available. Additionally, Cantina Rio will serve grilled sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus available from 10 a.m. to midnight for $16.95 per person.  

Dress to the nines and head to The Star for a decadent evening full of extravagant flavors, bustling entertainment and a sparkling end to the year. The Star’s 2020 Dinner and Dance celebration includes an entertaining live music performance by local favorite band Fat City and a gourmet buffet of prime rib, fresh seafood, international specialties and artisan desserts. For dinner and dancing, doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $50 each.  For dancing only, doors open at 9 p.m. and are $30 each. Tickets may be purchased at www.santaanastar.com/nye.

A special New Year’s Eve performance from EDM (Electronic Dance Music) DJ 3LAU will begin at 9 p.m. at The Stage. 3LAU will perform his hottest signature tracks to partygoers as they celebrate the New Year and enjoy VIP amenities. Wednesday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)

Plenty of entertainment continues during the New Year’s Day Slot Tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Guests will have the chance to win up to $500 in cash until 2 p.m. Free play drawings for $100 begin at noon with two guests winning every hour until 6 p.m. The celebration also includes the drawing for the New Year’s Day Car Giveaway held at 8 p.m. where nine guests will win cash prizes and one will drive away with a brand new 2019 GMC Acadia Denali. 

The Feast Buffet will offer a brunch buffet from noon to 8 p.m. for $24.95 per person. Juniper Steakhouse will open 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and offer stuffed chicken breast with creamy sun-dried tomato risotto for $23. Cantina Rio will be open regular hours with its full menu available.
