The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – May 20, 2016

The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – May 20, 2016 – On May 7, 2016, Santa Ana Star Casino, New Mexico’s Best Bet, partnered with Albuquerque Recycling, Inc., St. Felix Pantry and the Town of Bernalillo to host an electronics recycling event and clothing drive to benefit the community. During the event, community members dropped off 3.9 tons of electronic waste for recycling including computers, printers, cell phones, electronic accessories and much more.

“We are proud to provide a platform for our community to come together and protect the environment by having their old and broken electronics recycled in a way that is safe and environmentally-friendly,” said Santa Ana Star Casino Director of Marketing Tammy Neil. “Keeping our environment clean, safe and beautiful is a commitment we share with them, and one that we are glad to support with the help of our partners.”

During Santa Ana Star Casino’s electronics recycling event, most electronics were accepted free of charge. However several items including microwave ovens and printers had a small disposal fee.
