Stand-up Reaches New Heights with Sinbad at The Stage
The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. – March 12, 2018

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes world renowned actor and comedian Sinbad to The Stage. He will perform one show on Thursday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m., and two shows on Friday, March 16, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Sinbad, whose real name is David Adkins, has more than three decades of experience on stage. Although he began performing stand-up while serving in the U.S. Air Force, he became a breakout star in the '90s following the release of his wildly popular HBO comedy specials. Cleverly blending nuanced observational humor with relevant cultural satire, Sinbad tackles topics big and small ranging from the challenges and rewards of parenting and marriage to the trials and tribulations of everyday life. Sinbad has also extended his comedy beyond the stage and proven himself a prolific actor with roles on TV shows including "A Different World" and "The Sinbad Show" and in feature films including "Necessary Roughness," "Houseguest," "First Kid," "Jingle All the Way" and "Good Burger." In 1997, he released a collection of comedic short essays titled "Sinbad's Guide to Life: Because I Know Everything" co-written with David Ritz. Sinbad is also a gifted musician who plays several instruments—particularly drums and percussion—and has performed with numerous artists such as Dawnn Lewis and J. Henry.

Tickets to Sinbad's performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel range between $25 and $50 and can be purchased online at Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
