Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes comedian and entertainer Joel McHale to The Stage on Friday, Aug. 17. He will perform two shows at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Although he's one of today's most prominent personalities in popular culture, Joel McHale's pursuits in the entertainment industry began in Seattle in the '80s. He studied acting at the University of Washington and performed comedy with the Unexpected Productions improv troupe and on "Almost Live!," a local sketch comedy television show. After relocating to Los Angeles, McHale was quickly cast into roles on popular television shows including "Will and Grace" and "CSI: Miami," but he rose to international acclaim in 2004 as the writer, producer and star of E!'s hit show, "The Soup." Showcasing McHale's quick wit and sharp sarcasm, the show satirically delved into popular culture's most ridiculous, silly and bizarre moments each week. McHale also starred in NBC's Emmy-nominated series "Community" and currently writes, produces and stars in Netflix's "The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale."
Tickets to Joel McHale's performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel range between $25 and $45 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
