Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes comedian and entertainer Steve Trevino to The Stage. He will perform four shows on Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17. Each night the first show begins at 7 p.m. and the second at 9:30 p.m.
Born and raised in a small town outside Houston, Steve Trevino realized at an early age that he had a knack for making people laugh. He began performing stand-up at various comedy clubs in Corpus Christi, Texas and eventually made the decision to move to Dallas to become a full-time stand-up comedian. He quickly found work as the doorman at a local improve comedy club where he was able to spend many nights perfecting his comedy routine appearing at open-mic nights. He then earned his spot as the House MC and was soon recognized for his animated storytelling abilities detailing the humor in real-life scenarios of everyday married life and fatherhood. Following a stint as the opener for Carlos Mencia's, "The Three Amigos" comedy tour, he was brought on board to write for Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia" television show.
Trevino now lives in Hollywood, California where he regularly performs at the Comedy Store, Laugh Factory and the John Lovitz Comedy Club and has shared the stage alongside fellow stand-up comedians Dave Attell, Jamie Foxx, and Dave Chapelle. In 2012, Trevino filmed his fist comedy special "Grandpa Joe's Son" for Showtime and his second comedy special "Relatable" is currently available on Netflix.
