The Stage Welcomes “Last Comic Standing” Champion Rod Man

Santa Ana Star Casino, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes "Last Comic Standing" Season 8 champion Rod Man to The Stage on Friday, Nov. 3. Rod Man will perform two shows; the first begins at 7 p.m. and the second begins at 9:30 p.m.

Rod Man is a natural-born comedian who took his first steps into the world of stand-up comedy at "open mic" nights at Atlanta's Uptown Comedy Club. Developing a comedic style all his own that combines his unique voice and cadenced delivery with skillful storytelling, he transforms everyday occurrences into epic sagas full of rich detail and hilarious inner monologues. Discussing everything from immigration reform to the pitfalls of self-checkout lines, Rod Man's southern charm is matched only by his sharp, down-to-earth wit. Rod Man was crowned champion of "Last Comic Standing" Season 8 and has appeared on television shows including HBO's "Bad Boys of Comedy," MTV's "Wild 'N Out" and "The World Stands Up" on BBC America. He is also a writer and actor and hosts his own YouTube shows, "Time Out with Rod Man" and "That Good Funny."
