The Stage Welcomes Nick Swardson
The Pueblo of Santa Ana, N.M. - Nov. 22, 2017

Santa Ana Star Casino, New Mexico's Best Bet, welcomes stand-up comedian and actor Nick Swardson to The Stage. He will perform two shows on Thursday, Nov. 30, and Friday, Dec. 1. Each night the first show begins at 7 p.m. and the second begins at 9:30 p.m.

Although Nick Swardson began dabbling in comedy through theater and improv when he was 16, his first stand-up performance was at an open mic night at Minneapolis's Acme Comedy Co. two years later. Forgoing college to pursue his craft, he relocated to New York and then Los Angeles and eventually teamed up with Adam Sandler and his production company, Happy Madison Productions. Swardson has since become a highly sought-after comedian, actor, screenwriter and producer. His first half-hour Comedy Central special aired in 2001, but he has also released two comedy albums, "Party" in 2007 and "Who Farted" in 2009, created and starred in his own comedy sketch show on Comedy Central, "Nick Swardson's Pretend Time," and released a full-length comedy special on Comedy Central in 2015 called "Taste It!" As an actor, Swardson is best-known for his role as Tony Bernadino on "Reno 911," but his credits also include "Almost Famous," "Malibu's Most Wanted," "Grandma's Boy," "Blades of Glory," "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," "Jack and Jill," "Grownups 2," "Pixels" and "Hotel Transylvania 2."

Tickets to Nick Swardson's performances at The Stage at Santa Ana Star Casino range between $35 and $45 and can be purchased online at www.thestageatthestar.com. Attendees must be 21 years old or older. For more information, please call (505) 771-5680.
